Reflecting the worldwide use of intelligent and connected sensors in an ever-growing number of industries and applications, the Sensors & Instrumentation exhibition has a new logo and branding for 2015. Taking place at the NEC Birmingham on Wednesday 30th September and Thursday 1st October, this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than previous shows.
Now in its sixth year and firmly established as the UK’s only national sensors event, Sensors & Instrumentation 2015 has a number of new elements added which will further expand and develop this key industry trade show. Highlights include an exhibition of the latest products and technology from over 100 market-leading suppliers. This will provide visitors with the chance to speak to knowledgeable members of staff about the latest developments and applications, and to see new products and well-established ranges – all in the one venue.
The popular seminar programme will once again take place over the two days of the show and will include presentations from leading suppliers in the test, measurement and control industry, including National Instruments, HBM, Sensirion and DJB Instruments, to name just a few. This will be backed up by a new series of high-level keynote and case study led conference sessions taking place in a dedicated theatre within the show. Confirmed conference speakers will be representing leading organisations including Cambridge Consultants, Morgan Advanced Materials, General Dynamics, SICK and Sensor Technology.
Another exciting new addition for 2015 is the ‘Innovation Showcase’. This special display area within the show floor will provide the perfect opportunity for exhibitors, conference presenters and industry leading companies to demonstrate their latest products and innovations. It will be a focal point for the industry to demonstrate the latest developments taking place within this technology driven and growing sector. The Innovation Showcase will be located in a prime position at the front of the show and is expected to be an extremely popular feature with both participants and visitors alike.
“The show provides us with a wonderful platform to not only exhibit our extensive range of sensors, but also to discuss applications and give advice,” says Mike Neal, Huba Control.
“As a regular exhibitor at Sensors & Instrumentation, we’ve always been impressed by the quality of the exhibition and the high levels of interest shown by those visiting. Knowing that the show has even more to offer this year, with the seminars, conferences and the new Innovation Showcase area, we’re once again looking forward to a great event – and speaking to even more potential customers,” says Mike Hole, KELLER UK.
Taking place once again in Hall 3 of the NEC Birmingham, Sensors & Instrumentation will be co-located with The Machine Building Show, Micro Nano MEMS, TCT, and the PPMA Show making the show an even more worthwhile visit. Pre-registered visitors will also benefit from free parking (when staying after 3pm) and free Wi-Fi access.
