Charcroft Electronics – a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic components for harsh and high-end applications – will feature ultra-precision resistors for high-end instrumentation and robust sensors for industrial applications at Sensors & Instrumentation 2018.
The VPG Bulk Metal Foil resistors, from Vishay Precision Group (VPG), achieve tolerance down to 0.005 per cent and ultra-high stability down to 3ppm/°C. The resistors are designed for current-sensing in scientific, medical, mil-aero and other high-performance applications.
For sensing applications in harsh environments, Charcroft will showcase TT Electronics’ range of sensors which offer accuracy and longevity for critical applications. The range includes long-life position sensors, optical slotted and reflective sensors with a high level of mechanical and electrical design flexibility. It also includes the recently released low-profile, hollow-shaft potentiometers, in addition to the award-winning Photologic V programmable miniature OPB9000 reflective optical sensor which achieves the industry’s highest immunity to ambient light.
